Lois Eileen Fenske

Roxbury Township, Mrs. Lois Eileen Fenske, 82, died on November 22, 2017 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. She was born in East Pittsburgh, PA and lived in Livingston before moving to Roxbury Twp. New Jersey 60 years ago. She was a retired secretary for the Mt. Olive Police Department in Budd Lake, and previously was a school bus driver for the Roxbury Township Board of Education. She was a member of the Ever Young Senior Citizens Club, the Women’s Auxiliary of the Kenvil VFW, and member of the Red Hat Ladies Club.

She is survived by her husband George Edward Fenske of 63 years, son Michael R (and Barbara) Fenske and daughter Catherine L (and Thomas) Lowe, both of Succasunna. She was predeceased by her son Thomas G Fenske last year. She also leaves her sister Shirley (and Walter) Knych of Arizona, 8 grandchildren; Thomas A Fenske, Matthew G Fenske, Gabriel G Fenske, Shawntee Worth, Lauren N Fenske, Kellie C (and Vincent) Notte, Robert M Fenske, and Timothy P Lowe, and a great granddaughter Nora F. Notte.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264    (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 4 – 8 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at StJude.org
