Mrs. Linda Giordano, 89, died on February 28th , 2018 at Morristown Medical Center.  She was born in Fontenay-Sous-Bois, France in May 1928.  Linda met her husband John Giordano while he was serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.  They were married in July 1945 and came to live in New Jersey in March 1946.  They first lived in Bayonne, and later in Magnolia.  Linda moved to Merry Heart Assisted Living in Roxbury Township in August 2014.  Linda was a greatly loved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was predeceased by John Giordano, her husband of 62 years, and by her daughter Joanne Sosslau and son-in-law Edward Sosslau.  She is survived by her children: Laura (and Walter) Siekierski, Nancy (and Charles) Varites,  John (and Cheryl) Giordano, and Linda (and Robert) Schofield . She is survived by her cherished seven grandchildren: Douglas (and Kathy) Siekierski, Suzanne (and Ted) DiMontova, Jennifer (and Peter) Russo, Allison (and Adam) Gehlmeyer, Robert Schofield, and Matthew and Evan Giordano.  She is also survived by her beloved eleven great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, March 24th, at 11 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, located at 90 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ. Private interment will follow at Medford Cemetery at a later date.
