Mt. Arlington, Mrs. Lilla Ruth Brinkerhoff Redmond, 85, died on November 28, 2017 at home. She was a resident of Mount Arlington. She was born and raised in Passaic, NJ. She was a graduate of California State University, Northridge, and was an artist, poet, Reiki Master and Shamanic Practioner. She was active in Young At Heart, Seasons Glen,and member of the Mount Arlington Seniors and St. Clare’s Hospital cardiac group.

She is survived by her son Michael Redmond of Seguin, Texas, grandchildren; Kimberly Redmond, Kelly Redmond, Kristin LaPrise, Austin Redmond of Texas, and Michael Muccione of Succasunna, NJ, great grandchildren; Emily Redmond, Mackenzi Redmond, Zander, Justice and Bella LaPrise, and Jacob, and step mother Ruth Messineo, and brother in law James Meegan. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Muccione, sister Patricia Meegan, and brother James Messineo.

Family and Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 8 pm, by Julie Groth of Ravens Drum, at the Funeral Home.
