Roxbury Township, Larry Hoover, 86 years old, of Landing, NJ passed

away on May 8th at the age of 86 at home on

hospice.

Larry was born on April 26 in NJ and raised in the

Rockaway and Denville area. He has lived in

Landing for the past 58 years. He graduated from

MHHS, Larry served in the U.S. Army. He was a dirt

Stock car racer. Larry loved family vacations to

historic sites and going to Seaside and Wildwood.

He loved being a Pop Pop to his granddaughters.

Larry enjoyed classic car shows and had 2 of his

own. He was an avid road runner, sports enthusiast

along with Nascar watcher, and enjoyed going to

Casinos. He was Package Driver for United Parcel

Service for a time while had his own lawn maintenance business. Larry was an active member

of the United Methodist Church of Succasunna.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Pauline, of 58 years, his daughters Lori with husband Brian

Inwentarz, Pam with husband Bill Steel, and grandchildren Jessica, Kaelyn, and Samantha.

There will be a celebration of his life at the United Methodist Church in Succasunna, located on

91 Main Street in Succasunna, NJ with a Church Service at 2pm on May 13, 2025.
