Roxbury Township, Mr. Joseph P. Closeil, 79, died on January 29, 2019 at his home. He was born and raised in Gonaïves, Haiti and later lived in Africa before moving to Boston, MA, around Essex County, NJ, Randolph, NJ and finally Ledgewood. Before his retirement, He was a supervisor for Belfor Restorations in Totowa and previously was a Lawyer and Professor.

He is survived by his wife Paula M (Alexandre) Closeil of 51 years, and by his 2 sons; Eddy Y (and Tamika) Closeil of Randolph, and Patrick Closeil of Ledgewood and 2 grandchildren; Qaisha Closeil and Kobe Closeil.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, February 4 at 10 am at the Church of the Assumption R C Church, Morristown, followed by the burial at the Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown.  Arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264(davishepplewhitefh.com).
