Mt. Arlington, Mr. John F Crowley, 76, died on December 13, 2020 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Farmville, VA and lived in Nutley and Randolph before moving to Mt. Arlington 20 years ago. He served in the U S Air Force during the Vietnam War and later earned his BA and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He was a CPA, Accountant, and Financial Advisor for the Schering-Plough Company in Bloomfield for many years. He was also a member of Our Lady Star of The Sea R C Church in Lake Hopatcong and former member of the Knight’s of Columbus chapter in Belleville.

He is survived by his wife MaryJeanne (DeMeo) Crowley of 51 years, his son Daniel James (and Kelly) Crowley of Aberdeen, and granddaughter Maggie Crowley. He also leaves his sister Marie Crowley of PA, and brother Daniel T (and Elizabeth) Crowley of Whitehouse Station. He was predeceased by his sister Helen “Lee” Crowley in 1993.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 4 – 7  pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday,  10 am, at Our Lady Star of the Sea R C Church in Lake Hopatcong, with the interment, with military honors, to follow at the Brig. Gen. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John’s Church soup kitchen, 22 Mulberry St, PO Box 200147, Newark, NJ 07102.
