Roxbury Township, Mrs. Jill R Fortner, 75, died on November 24, 2018 at her home. She was born in Montclair and grew up in Singac, NJ before moving to Landing 44 years ago. She was a retired school bus driver for the Roxbury Township Board of Education, where she worked for more than 25 years. She enjoyed knitting, rescuing dogs (pugs), and was an avid reader.

She was predeceased by her husband James H Fortner in 2010, and by her grandson Philip Napoli this year. She leaves her son Sean Fortner of Landing and daughter Cheri Napoli of Manchester, and by her granddaughter Katie Napoli.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ  973-584-7264  (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday, from 5  – 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 7 pm.
