James “Jim” Drumm

Clermont, FL    James (Jim) Drumm, 65 passed away on August 31st 2018 in Clermont, Florida after a short illness. Jim was born September 19th 1952 in Orange NJ, and grew up in Short Hills NJ, moving from East Hanover NJ to Clermont Fl. in 2011. Jim s survived by his Beloved Wife Gerri Overman,  Sister Barbara (Owen) McClusky of Plainsboro, NJ. Niece Maura (Eladio) Gonzalez of Belle Mead NJ, great nieces Catherine & Clare, Nephew Neal (Julia) McClusky of Alexandria VA, great niece Iona and great nephew Nathaniel, Gerri’s daughter Kristy (Graham) Bryce and Step grandsons Charlie and Henry, Gerri’s son Brian (Amy) Amy Overman and step granddaughters Emily and Abbigail. Jim is predeceased by his parents Edward and Agnes Drumm. and special Neighbors Tom & Kristi Nash, Kaylee, Emily and Kamden along with their Golden Retrievers Bailey and Marley who really loved Jim.

Jim worked for Panasonic in Secaucus for many years, and was a Broadcast Engineer with USA Networks and NBC Universal in Jersey City and Englewood Cliffs retiring in 2008. Jim worked as a Sound Engineer for many years with various bands in the New Jersey area, most notably CloverHill. Jim & Gerri met at the Stanhope House in Stanhope NJ, where Jim sometimes did sound.

Jim has requested that there not be any services. He will be buried at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Succasunna, NJ.
