Roxbury Township,   Helene Svennevik, 60, died on May 23, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She was born in Egersund, Norway and came to the United States at 11 months old. She settled in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Succasunna 53 years ago.  In 1971 she graduated from Roxbury High School, and was a receptionist at The Arrangement Hair Salon in Ledgewood and, enjoyed cooking.

She was predeceased by her parents Petra and Bernhard Svennevik and is survived by her 3 brothers; Herb (and Deb) of  Nolensville, TN, Michael of Succasunna, and Allen of Mt. Bethel, PA, and 3 nieces; Elise, Emily, and Abigail.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Tuesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 7:30 pm, at the Funeral Home.
