Boca Raton, FL,   Mr. George F Raupp, 76, died Wed January 25, 2012 at the Agape Rehab Center in Conway, SC. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and lived most of his life in Succasunna, NJ before moving to Boca Raton, FL, 7 years ago. He served in the U S Air Force from 1953 to 1957,  and then earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University. He was an electrical engineer for 40 yrs and retired from Lucent Technologies in Whippany in 2002.  He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and many years ago coached Little League in Roxbury Township.

He was predeceased by his wife Louise “Fran” Raupp in 2002, daughter Diane L Aigotti in 2011, and son Gerald Raupp in 1959.  He is survived by 4 children; Karen Hettling of Brick, Gary Raupp of Newton, Brenda (and David) Zabriskie of Wantage, and Denise (and Michael) Mohr of Myrtle Beach, SC, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264)  davishepplewhitefh.com on Sunday from 2 – 5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 10 am at the Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
