Frank J Atterbury, II

Roxbury Township, Mr., Frank J Atterbury, II, 67, died on November 12, 2025 at the Morristown Medical Center from a long bout of multiple illness over the last few years but always a fighter until the end
He was born in Morristown and lived in Morristown before moving to Kenvil 30 years ago. He served in the U S Navy aboard the USS Enterprise from 1978 – 1980. He was a Master Mechanic at Atlantic Health System hospital in Morristown and climbed the ladder to become Corporate Manager of Motor Services until 2015. He worked at Atlantic Health for 34 years before retiring.  Frank was involved with a lot of community activities especially as President of the Knee Deep Fishing club in Lake Hopatcong. He loved to go fishing, restore old classic cars and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and taking cruises to relax. Always loyal and supportive to his family and friends and a very loyal fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.
He is survived by his partner and Fiancé Wai Chee Leung and her daughter Jennifer Cook and fiancée Jeffrey McClune from Orlando, Florida. He is survived by his Aunt Patricia Miller from Largo, Florida and cousins William and Barbara Miller from Minnesota and Lee Anne Miller from St Petersburg , Florida.  Even though Wai and Frank were not married but partners in life. Wai’s family was his family also. Her brother:  William and Judy Leung and their children Kaitlin Leung and Sarah and Justin Cohen and son Ethan. Her Sister:  Brian and Wai Lachell along with their children Kimberly, Stephanie and Christopher. We can also never forget his most faithful family members in Bully Girl (dog), Bobbie Girl (dog) and Lucy (dog)
Friends may visit at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ, 973-584-7264 on Wednesday, November 19th, from 9 – 11 am. The Private Funeral Service will follow after. Any flowers are welcome or in lieu of flowers a donation to Eleventh Hour Rescue animal shelter in Randolph in Frank’s name will also be very appreciated.
