Roxbury Township,     Mr. Frank C Cipriano, 92, died on February 19, 2011 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born in Jersey City where he lived before moving to Landing 44 years ago. During WW II he served in the U S Air Corps 86^th Fighter Squadron, 12^th Air Force, as a Sergeant in the North African Desert and in the Middle East European Theater. He worked at the Sandoz Company in East Hanover for 21 years before retiring as a senior customer service representative in 1983. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake R C Church in Mt. Arlington and of the American Legion Post #245 in Lake Hopatcong.

He was predeceased by his wife Marie (Joans) in 2003 and son Douglas in 2005. He is survived by his son Paul Cipriano of Great Meadows, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

Friends may visit the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna, NJ (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com, on Wednesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9  pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, 10 am, at Our Lady of the Lake R C Church in Mt. Arlington with the interment to follow at the Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. Donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Institute.
