Roxbury Township, Mrs Elizabeth A McGarry, 71, died on March 9, 2017 at the Morristown Medical Center. She was born in Orange and grew up in West Orange. She moved to Roxbury in 1969. She was the Technical Assistant to the Construction Official in Roxbury for 27 years before retiring in 2011. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to Manasquan.

She is survived by her son Patrick (and Jane) McGarry of Budd Lake and daughter Erin (and Michael) Murray of Rockaway Township. She also leaves her brother Daniel O’Leary of Jackson, and 2 grandchildren; Daniel McGarry and Katie Murray.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday, March 15, from 4 – 8 pm.  The Funeral Liturgy will be on Thursday, March 16, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church. Donations may be made in her name to St.Jude’s Hospital or to the 11th Hour Animal Rescue.
