Eleanor R Washer

Roxbury Township, Mrs. Eleanor Roberta Washer, 89, died on November 1, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. She was born in Wharton and lived in Montclair before moving to Ledgewood 66 years ago. She was an assembly worker at Boonton Aircraft in Denville and a member of the Mine Hill American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Roxbury Fire Co. #1 Ladies Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her first husband Carl Wm Senzig in 1969 and by her second husband Eugene Washer in 1995. She is survived by her 2 sons; Carl Robert (and Janice) Senzig of Hope and Roger Wm Senzig of Ledgewood, 7 grandchildren; Elizabeth Hansen, David Senzig, Alison Carroll, Denise Killpatrick. Nancy Nagey, Rondi Dawson, and Bobby Dawson, 11 great grandchildren, and her son-in-law Bob Dawson. She was predeceased by her daughter Regina Dawson in 2001.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday from  4 – 7  pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home, with the internment to follow at the ­­­Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in East Hanover.
