Mt. Arlington, NJ     Mr. Donald J Klein, 83, died on November 22, 2011 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. He was born in Chicago, IL and lived in the area for 61years. He then lived in Sarasota, FL, and Galloway, NJ, before moving to the Mt. Arlington Assisted Living Center, 1 year ago. Before serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he was a 1949 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance. He was a Grain Broker at the Chicago Board of Trade where he worked for 40 years, before retiring in 1990. His favorite pastimes were following his alma mater, Notre Dame, and his Chicago sports teams; the Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks.

He is survived by his wife Ann (Spruytenburg) of 32 years, 3 children; Deborah (and Kevin) Price of Succasunna, Dan (and Missy) Klein of Phoenix, AZ, and Cheryl (and Jeff) Fischer of Chicago, IL, 7 grandchildren; Sean, Meghan, and Lauren Price, Brianna Klein, and Kelan, Cara, and Colm Markey, 3 sisters; Dorothy Hardy, Marie Genovese, and Lois Sheehan, all of Chicago, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday 10am, at St. Therese R C Church, 155 Main St., Succasunna, NJ. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the N.J.
