Randolph, NJ  Mr.Donald Arthur Hinks, 90, died Monday, August 19, 2019 at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Dover following a brief illness.

Mr. Hinks is survived by his wife of 68 years, Paula (Moore) Hinks; his son, Scott Hinks and fiancé Nancy Rosikiewicz and his daughter, Karen Gallagher and husband Richard Gallagher.  He also leaves behind two grandsons, Brian DeBoer and wife Alecia and Gregory Hinks and wife Michele and two great-grandsons Logan & Levi Hinks.

He was born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and was a resident of Hicksville, NY and Randolph, NJ.

He entered the Air Force in 1949 where he served as an Aircraft Radio Mechanic. Mr. Hinks joined Sperry Gyroscope in Lake Success, NY as an electronics technician for defense systems in 1952.  In 1961, he joined Hewlett Packard in Paramus, NJ as Manager of electronic instruments repair.

Mr. Hinks had a passion for woodworking, creating home decorations with his wife that were sold through her small business as well as being enjoyed by the family in their homes.
