Roxbury Township, Mr. David C Rogers, 89, died on February 8, 2019 in Morristown. He was born in Swedesboro, NJ and grew up in Boonton, before moving to Succasunna 64 years ago. He served in the U S Navy during the Korean War and became a machinist and tool maker for the McKiernan Terry Company in Dover. He then started his own repair company on Main Street, Succasunna, where he could fix or repair anything.

He is survived by his wife Patricia W Rogers of 64 years, 3 children; Carol (and John) Cornell of Gaithersburg, MD, Daniel (and Cheryl) Rogers of Bellevue, Washington, and Timothy (and Yung Mei) Rogers, of Hyattsville, MD, and by his 7 grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday from 2 – 5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 10 am at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester, with Military Honors.
