Roxbury Township, Mrs. Claire Theresa Olshakoski, 85, died on May 22, 2014 at the Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna. She was born and lived in Yonkers NY for 82 years. She was a retired switch board operator for AT&T in Yonkers NY for many years and later worked for the John Wanamakers department store in personnel, in Yonkers. She attended PS #9 and graduated from Commerce High School in Yonkers. She married John Olshakoski on May 10, 1952 at St. Joseph’s R C Church in Yonkers.

 She was predeceased by her husband John in 2005 and by her brother Bryan Swanson in 2004. She has survived by her Janis (and Rodney) Zimmers of Randolph, grandchildren Rodney Jr., and Jaclyn Zimmers, brother-in-law Andrew Olshakoski of Stony Point, NY and niece Margret Mary Hawkins of VA.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday from 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, 9:30 am at the Sacred Heart R C Church in Yonkers, with the interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
