Roxbury Township, Mrs. Christina Lee MacDonald, 57, died on July 17, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. She was born in Montclair and grew up in Bloomfield, graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1974. She then lived in Kearny for 10 years before moving to Succasunna in 1986. She was a billing clerk for the Morris Plains Stop & Shop for 40 years and for a while also worked as a nurse’s aide at the Wellkind Hospital (now known as Kessler Institute) in Chester.

She is survived by her husband Archie MacDonald of 38 years, son John E MacDonald at home, sister Deborah J Kalra-Bischoff of Newark, and nephew Vincent A Kalra of Newark. She was predeceased by her baby Jason in 1980, and will always be remembered by her dog Chloe Lynn.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
