Chris Seeger, 79, passed away March 3, 2013, in Clearwater, FL.  He was a graduate of Roxbury High School and the University of Rhode Island where he received a Track and Field scholarship.  He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was assigned to Attack Squadron VA-75 aboard the USS Bennington and the USS Tarawa.  Chris taught Biology and Science and coached Football and Track and Field at Clearwater High School before retiring after 35 years.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emily Seeger of Roxbury and his longtime companion, Rina LeMay.  He is survived by his son Eric and wife Angie and his grandson Chase of LaCrosse, WI, daughter Kimberly Little and her husband Joseph of Land O’Lakes, FL, brother Gary Seeger and his wife Barbara of Morris Plains and sister Linda Silcox and her husband Bill of Roxbury.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday (March 14^th) from 10 – 12 am. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday 12 noon, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
