Hopatcong, NJ. Mrs. Catherine Ann (Jordan) Pearce, 73, died on August 2, 2026, at the Livia Health Center in East Hanover. She was born in Manhattan, New York, and lived in Parsippany, NJ, before moving to Hopatcong 23 years ago. She worked as a dedicated computer programmer for Beneficial Corporation in Peapack, NJ, until a life-changing automobile accident led to her medical retirement, after which she faced life with remarkable strength and resilience. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William T. Pearce; her children and their spouses: Faith and her husband, John Tone, of Succasunna; John Pearce and his wife, Kaylene, of Florence, AZ; and Kellie and her husband, Damian Gerock, of Kenvil. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nick and Calli Pearce, Joelle Tone, and Hannah Gerock. In addition, she leaves behind her sister, Lynn, and her husband, Peter Woods, of Westford, MA; her nieces, Jacqueline Kleyn and Victoria Woods; and her great-nieces, Taylor and Hallie. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Madeline Jordan, and her grandson, Cody John Douglas Gerock.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 07876 (973-584-7264). Friends may also visit on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A family service will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
