Roxbury Township, Mrs. Carmella R McDonald, 95, died on July 16, 2019 at the Regency Grande Home in Dover. She was born in Newark and grew up in Netcong where she graduated High School. She later married and lived in Ledgewood before moving to Berkshire Valley 35 years ago.  She worked for many years at Picatinny Arsenal and was a member of the Roxbury Senior Citizens Club.

She was predeceased by her husband, (of 39 years) John J McDonald in 1984. She is survived by her 4 children; Elaine Ayres of Long Valley, Richard (and Linda) McDonald of Berkshire Valley, Dennis McDonald of Budd Lake, and Phyllis (and Kenny) Yue of Netcong. She also leaves her 8 grandchildren; Daniel and Jason Ayres, Casey McDonald, Shanna Maher, Donald and Thomas Cole, Tina and Nicole Yue and her 7 great grandchildren, and by her sister Barbara Nassaur of GA.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday (July 19^th) from 3 – 6 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday (July 20^th), 10 am, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
