Bruce Alan Ritzer

Bruce Alan Ritzer (age 73), grew up in Kenvil, NJ, and met his best friend, and future wife, Sandi Dillon, in the 6th grade. Bruce and Sandi were married on February 22, 1969.

Bruce started and ended each of the 53 years with Sandi, telling her he loved her, and the morning of March 4th was no different.  Bruce put a brave fight and never lost his faith as he dealt with numerous health issues that ultimately resulted in his passing.

He is preceded in death by his father Jack W. Ritzer, mother Ethel (Hulmes) Ritzer and brother Raymond W. Ritzer.

He survived by his loving wife, Sandi, his two sons, Michael John Ritzer, of Winter Springs, FL, and Christopher Alan (Cara Osborn) Ritzer of Dover, NJ, and two beautiful grandsons, Gian Lee (9) and Tristan Jacob (8), his brother Keith Ritzer, Wharton, NJ, Janet (Stan) Melvin, Kenvil, NJ, Carol Ritzer, Succasunna, NJ, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Bruce and Sandi have resided in Winter Springs, FL, since 1996. Bruce ended his long career as a Program Manager at Lockheed-Martin, retiring in 2011.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home,96 Main St., Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday (March 11th) from 4 – 7  pm, with the Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 am at the Succasunna United Methodist Church.
