Mt.Olive Township, Mrs. Beverly A. Jackson-Carr, 84, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, at Morristown Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
Born in Englewood, NJ, to the late Fuvio and Lydia Sterchele, Beverly was raised in Northvale before settling in Budd Lake, where she spent most of her life raising her family.
Beverly dedicated over 25 years of service to ShopRite (Ronetco). During her time there, she formed lasting friendships that brought her great joy. She loved vacationing at her Florida home, going on cruises, and traveling to Italy, but above all, she cherished spending time with her family and celebrating the holidays with those she loved.
Known for her timeless sense of style, Beverly always dressed in soft shades of cream or beige—her signature colors. She had a playful flair for adding just a splash of cranberry or coral, bringing a pop of joy and personality to every outfit. Her fondness for collecting angels also reflected her nurturing spirit, with her home filled with beautiful angel figurines that brought her comfort and peace.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Douglas A. Jackson, Sr., in 1988; her second husband, Jeffrey T. Carr, in 2020; her son, Douglas A. Jackson, Jr., and grandson Douglas Jackson III in 2015; and her sisters, Inez and Angelina.
Beverly is lovingly remembered by her children: William Jackson; Lisa Jackson; Judy (Jackson) and her husband Chris Czako; Samantha (Carr) and her husband Paul Balmforth; and Stephanie (Carr) and her husband Corrado DePinto. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Lexis and Jordan Jackson; Brittney (Jackson) Cinicola; Alex and Nicole Czako; Jason, Lianna, and Nina LeValley; Chloe and Danny Bavaro; and her great-grandchildren, Lorenzo and Santino Cinicola.
