Barbara Ann Ross

Roxbury Township, Barbara Ann Ross , 75 ,  passed away on  Monday May 19, 2014 at  St. Clare’s Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover , N.J.  She was born  in Kingston , Pa. to the late William E. and Jeanette Patience Esselborn and grew up in Port Jervis, NY . She married and moved to Guam with family . They moved to Succasunna , NJ in 1971. Barbara was a full time mother and part time cafeteria worker . She worked for AT&T in Netcong . Her love of kids and cooking brought her back to the Roxbury Township Schools where she worked and retired as a cook at Lincoln Roosevelt School. She took great pride and joy in serving the many kids good meals through the years.

She is a member of St Therese R.C. Church in Succasunna and was active in the Roxbury Senior Club . Barbara will be remembered for her loyalty and her strong will and perseverance.  She did not suffer the fool . She was always true to herself and her beliefs .

 She is predeceased by her son Dean Allen Ross , and is survived by her son William H. Ross Jr of Charlotte , NC and her daughter , Kris Ross of Waxhaw , NC ., 5 grandchildren Brianne Kibler, Jesse Ross , Devon , Andrew and Jacob Kuchavik ,one great granddaughter Emerson Grace Kibler , and her former husband and friend William H. Ross Sr. of Navarre , Fla.

 Visitation will be held at Davis & Hepplewhite , 96 Main St . Succasunna, on Thursday from 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 am Friday , may 23, 2014 at St Therese R.C. Church in Succasunna .

 We invite you back to our family home to share in food, fellowship and memories. Please bring a small stone so we can gather them together symbolizing our individual memories and intentions . If you are unable to attend please feel free to leave a small stone in the basket on our front porch.

 In lieu of flowers we ask that contributions be made to St Clare’s Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover , NJ or to St Theresa’s R C Church . We thank all of you who touched our mom’s life .
