Delmar, DE, Mr. Andrew J Buttner, 85, died on December 5, 2012 at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna. He was born in Ironia (Randolph Township) and lived in Kenvil, NJ for most of his life, before moving recently to Delmar, DE. . He served in the U S Navy during WW II and later served in the reserves. He was a retired machinist working at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township until 1972, and also worked as a farmer for most of his life. He was a member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna.
He is survived by his sister Eileen Kasweck of Melbourne, FL and Kenvil, NJ, 2 nephews, Ken and Kevin Kasweck of Florida and friends Tom and Margie Walsh of Kenvil.
Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Sunday from 2 – 6 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, with the interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Wharton.
