Mine Hill,  Mr. Andres Caneppa, 94, died on April 7, 2013 at home. He was born in Valparaiso, Chile and came to the U.S. in 1980 and lived in Jersey City until 1988, before moving to Mine Hill 24 years ago. He was a retired auto mechanic for the D.O.S. Company in Valparaiso, Chile and attended St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna.

He was predeceased by his wife Juana Caneppa of 76 years, (in 2012), 6 Children; Maria (and Eduardo) Arancibia, with whom he lived, Hector (and Gladys) Caneppa, Rosa (and Mario) Carreno, Andres (and Veronica) Caneppa, Erika, and Cecilia, granddaughter Jessica (and Alex) Doblado and their children Marcia and Alexandra of Mine Hill, granddaughter Evelyn Rajkovich and her boyfriend John Dolan, Jr. and her son Brandon of Fairfield, grandchildren; Rosa, Aldo, and Andrea of Chile, Alex, Mario, and Daniel of Spain, and Marcelo of Canada, and great grandchildren; Emilia, Javier, Cynthia, Jessica, Alejandro, and Gladys of Chile, Yaiza and Naira of Spain, and Vicente of Canada, 2 great-great grandchildren; Alison and Francisca of Chile.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264)  davishepplewhitefh.com on Monday and Tuesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9  pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, 11 am at St. Therese R C Church, with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
