Nazareth, PA-  Miss Alfreida (Alfie) J Canfield, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Candi  and Gary Evans (her niece and nephew-in-law) on March 3, 2015 at her home in Plainfield Twp, PA. She was born on August 22nd, 1945 and lived in Kenvil NJ, and Mt Freedom for many years, before moving to Nazareth 3 years ago. She graduated from Roxbury High School in 1963. She was a supervisor at ASCO for 45 years, and member of the Ledgewood Baptist Church, and Canfield Historical society. She was also an avid golf player, and bowler. She was always a sweet and caring person, and generous beyond words.

She was the daughter of the late Olga E (Haggerty) and the late Alfred D Canfield. She is survived by her brother Clyde (Butch) Canfield his wife Pauletta (Penny), along with her sister-in-law Eleanor along with many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and friends who were like extended family. She was predeceased by 2 of her brothers Paul and Floyd (Skip).

Friends may visit the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna, NJ (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com, on Monday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8  pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 11 am, at the Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
